Urban exploration often shortened as urbex or UE is the examination of the normally unseen or off limits parts of urban areas or industrial facilities. Urban exploration is also commonly referred to as infiltration, although some people consider infiltration to be more closely associated with the exploration of active or inhabited sites. It may also be referred to as "draining" (when exploring drains) "urban spelunking", "urban caving", or "building hacking

Your site is one of those rare finds on the internet.
Absolutly fasinating and amazing...I hope to visit some of these locations myself.
haha what happened to broken britain
Relatively new to urbex (one month to be precise) but my wife & I have visited Leybourne, Chartham amd Hellingly recently. My wife is an amateur model and we like to take glamour shots in the abandoned buildings.
We're always looking for local venues so would love to tag along sometime if that's practical?

Nice site. There's a non-military complex very close to me, be happy to show you round next time you're in Hampshire.
Oooh sweet site. I like... :)
Hi, this is really good job. Well done you can be proud of it. Keep up the good work :)
Hello ffaf1986, I'm TheTrevorGoodchild and a newcomer to the 28DL forums, until my account is checked by the mods I can not post so I come here directly just to say thanks. It's been a few years since I've seen the inside of the old ABC cinema at the bottom of Stone Street in maidstone, your pictures evoked a lot of old memories. Also myself and a few friends went exploring the Leyborne Grange after hours, and a plesant surprise it was to see your superb photos of the derelicts. We gave the mansion and clock tower a miss due to the time and darkness but hope to explore those parts in the future! Thanks again, keep up the good work.
Great site and shots mate, you got a wide range of places
