With britain have a long history with industry from making bricks to gunpowder there are many abandoned factorys as now days its cheaper to import products from other countries many of these old sites have been long since forgotten like at cliffe in kent wich has a large gunpoder factory from victorian times wich is long forgotten.
Before television and radio peoples enternatinment was provided from a much wider range most town had at least one cinema located in the centre as well as theatres like chatham wich had a large ABC cinema and its own Theatre Royal but with television and out of town state of the art cinema complexes these old buildings have been left to decay over time or demolished for redevlopment maidstone ABc cinema is hidden away and the theatre Royal at Chatham you would pass by without even noticing them
